As you know, our Terrigal shop is now closed but we’ve kept our business name to create a new private space for our owner, Zach [neighbourhoodtats].
We are still based on the Central Coast and offer bookings Tuesday to Sunday, by appointment only.
This new space gives Zach one on one appointments with his clients and enables him to offer the best possible experience for them.
On this website, you will find info on Zach and his new space, his portfolio, some handy info in our FAQ page as well as a blog dedicated to regular updates on Zach’s new flash, guest spots and new merch!
We’ve also kept both Instagram accounts, the shop and Zach’s, mainly to advertise different aspects. The shop Instagram will focus on his available bookings on the coast as well as his portfolio, flash sheets and new merch. His account will be used as a portfolio, his upcoming bookings including his guest spots and a travel blog!
We also have a brand new page about the history and meaning of Traditional & Japanese tattooing, both of which are Zach’s specialties. It can give you some great insight into specific styles and tattoos and lots of inspo!

Zach * Owner of Louielou Tattoo & Traditional Tattoo Artist
Zach [neighbourhoodtats] has been a tattoo artist for ten years and ran a busy tattoo studio in Terrigal, for seven years.
In May 2025, it was time close the doors of Louielou Tattoo in Terrigal but the decision was made to keep the business name to create a new, private space for Zach.
As well as having his studio on the Central Coast of NSW, Zach travels a lot to other tattoo shops all over Australia and overseas, most notably France & America.
He specialises in Traditional & Japanese styles, blending bold black tattooing with Japanese folklore as well as including clouds, waves and ornamentals into dark pieces.

We are open Tuesday to Sunday by appointment only. We do not have set opening hours as Zach travels a lot.

Zach’s Instagram account will focus more on his portfolio and his available bookings on the Coast but also all of his guest spots as he is doing a lot more travelling around Australia and overseas. It will also be used as a travel blog!
